A suspect in a July homicide in Santa Monica is being held on $2 million bond. The investigation started on July 25 when police found a woman with significant injuries at an apartment on Pico Boulevard. She died at the scene.

The Santa Monica Police Department worked with other agencies to locate the suspect. With support from the Los Angeles Police Department and the LA County Sheriff's Department, the suspect was found in South LA. The suspect, a 35-year-old man from San Luis Obispo, was identified and arrested.
