The Los Angeles Zoo has recently acquired four young Boer goats from a local school program. These 6-month-old female goats were previously cared for by students at Covina High School. The goats were part of the school's Future Farmers of America program, which has been in operation since 1948.

Students in this program were involved in caring for the goats' mothers and the kids themselves. Further details about the goats and the program are available from the Los Angeles Zoo. The goats are now available for visitors to meet and interact with at the zoo.
