A new public comment system has been introduced to make participation in meetings easier. This system aims to simplify the process for residents to express their opinions. Previously, callers had to navigate through access codes and other features to make their voices heard.
The revamped system includes a text message reminder for callers when their item of interest is being discussed. This allows them to avoid listening to the entire meeting, which can be lengthy.
Further details about the new system are available, including comments from officials on its intended benefits.
