A new low-income rental complex is underway with the delivery of its first modular home unit. The unit, nearly 500 square feet in size, was transported from Perris on a large truck. This is the first of 12 modular units to be delivered for the complex, which will have a total of 14 units.

The development is intended for low-income renters, including those who lost their homes in a fire that destroyed courtyard apartments. The use of prefabricated construction is expected to speed up the creation of rental housing. Further details about the project are available from the source.
