A large number of marine animals are being cared for after being seized from illegal wildlife trafficking. The animals, nearly 1,000 in total, were taken in by an aquarium over the course of two operations. They include various fish, such as clownfish, and other creatures like brownbanded bamboo sharks.
The aquarium's vice president of animal care notes that this is one of the largest groups of animals the aquarium has handled. Further details about the operations and the animals' care are available.
